CORNDAWG says: Sbarro, Italian Eatery. It’s not Sbad. Conveniently located in a moldy underground tunnel filled with creepy Speople, across the hall from a seedy news shop, Sbarro kept their short line moving at the height of the lunch rush, while other fancy-schmancy places were backed up. I chose the gourmet pepperoni and cheese Stromboli, and it was Sfantastic. Loads of spicy Spepperoni and ooey-gooey Smozzarella cheese ensconced in golden brown buttery Sdough. It’s not classic Italian style Scuisine, but a bastardized American version made to please the masses. Consider me one of the mass.
Sbarro was approached with low expectations, and surprisingly exceeded them. SKudos to the SKing of Food court pizza.
